We had a fantastic experience at the Reading MA Home Depot. Michelle in Hardware knew her nuts and bolts and really helped us figure out how to move forward on teo projects. Nice big clean store.
This is hands-down the best Home Depot I have ever been to. I had specific questions that one of the employees and a different section help me with, and even pointed out a rebate that I can get from the state for the thermostat I was buying. The teller was also very good and polite and intelligent, giving me some ideas for ways to weatherproof the areas of my house for my kids like to play and would tear apart any plastic coverings for the windows
Very disappointed in the delivery service. We purchased a dishwasher and made an appointment for delivery, and received an automated call the night before confirming the date and setting a delivery window of between 9:30 and 1:30. When they had not arrived by 1:30, I called and was put on hold. While on hold I received a call from the driver saying they would arrive in half an hour. One and a half hours later, I called again, only to be told that the delivery window was between 2 and 6:30. They claimed that was the time I had previously been given. It wasn't. When the delivery finally arrived, they claimed they had NOT called earlier to say they were on the way, then backtracked to say they had called but I had not answered. What would have been wrong with apologizing for the delays instead of telling me lies about everything and implying that it was me, the customer, who was wrong about everything?
Special thanks to Emerillo ! He gave me help loading my suv with cabinets .I did not need to get in line and request help. He saw me struggling in parking lot and came to my assistance. Again i appreciate his help and attitude.
