As just one example the transmission went out on our '99 Saturn at around 85k miles. The dealership wanted over $2,500... instead we purchased a used transmission from a junker and had Reading Square put it in for us at a fraction of the dealer's costs. They did the work fast and well and that car is still going strong.
We are Reading, MA natives and this shop has a great reputation in town. Several of our neighbors recommended it to us and we have had great service there. They are also an honest and well-informed shop with regard to inspections.
The service here is poor. The people are rude...quite frankly, it seems like it is a shady business front for something illegal.
I don't know what's up with the Shell Oil blurb from citysearch below... the name Shell here is irrelevant anyway. It's the management, workers, and integrity of this shop that make it great and well worthy of five stars.
